Justice for Breonna Taylor

Writing a post like this is not easy. In fact, I’ll never find the right words to describe this. I’m not a wordsmith by any means, in fact that’s why I love drawing. I can express myself through pictures instead. The last several weeks have pulled the proverbial white sheet off of many Americans and the cancer that is racism shows it’s red, white and blue colors. It continues to spread, despite the best efforts of many to show anti-racism.

What happened to Breonna Taylor is terrifying. I’ve sat up at night over noises and they were nothing. Scared it could be a burglar. But the thugs of our generation are the ones with badges, and they’re power fueled and trigger happy. No one should be scared to sleep soundly in the safety of their own home. Wake up, America! It’s BEEN time to let BIPOC live to see another day. They deserve to wake up too.

Go to Justice for Breonna Taylor to learn her story and the injustice that not only she faced in her final moments, but many Black and BIPOC Americans do every day.

As I continue the Big Learn(tm) on Black America, my mind always comes back to my passion project which is cannabis. This industry, which was created within the past 10 years, is overbearingly white. Without BIPOC cannabis would never have been on the radar of those who gain the most from it. A company called Cannaclusive is putting together resources for Black and Brown Americans to better their chances at being recognized in the industry. Here’s a few links they gathered I wanted to share.

With all of that in mind, here are some of my newest creations from the past couple weeks. Please enjoy these creations. Use them as you see fit!
